You want to add an additional domain to your hosting plan, follow the instructions below. An alias is a domain that will display the same site as your main domain. An additional domain (site) is a domain on which you can host another site.

Prerequisites

  • Access to Funio Hub

Completion of the task: 5 minutes

Expertise: beginner

How to do it?

  1. Log into your cPanel

  2. Under "Domains", click on "Domains".

  3. Now click on the "Create A New Domain" button on the right.

  4. You can now create an alias or additional domain (site).

    • Domain: the domain name you would like to host.
      - If you wish to create an alias of your main domain please leave the "Share document root" box checked and click Submit.

    • Otherwise, uncheck this box to create an additional domain (site).

    • When you uncheck the "Share document root" box, the directory where you want the files of this new domain to be hosted will be filled in automatically. You can change it if you wish.

    • Click on Submit.

  5. You're done!
