How to change the password of your email account

If you have forgotten or want to change your email address password, you can do so by accessing your cPanel.

Prerequisites

• Access to cPanel,

• Access to Funio Hub or

• Access to Webmail

How to do?

You can change the password of an email account from the following interfaces:

cPanel

1. Log in to your cPanel

2. Select "Email Accounts" under the Email group.

3. Click on "Manage" for the email account whose password you wish to change

4. Under the “Security” section, enter or generate the new password

5. Click on the “Update Email Settings” button

Webmail

1. Log in to the Webmail

2. Click on your email address in the upper right corner

3. Choose Password & Security

4. Enter or generate the new password

5. Save

Funio Hub

1. Connect to the Funio Hub

2. Select Services > My Services on the top menu

3. Click on the Status button of your hosting plan

4. Under the Quick Shortcuts section, click on the "Email Accounts" icon

5. You will be redirected to the “Email Accounts” section of cPanel

6. Click on "Manage" for the email account whose password you wish to change

7. Under the “Security” section, enter or generate the new password

8. Click on the “Update Email Settings” button

Advice

Make sure you have a strong and complex password to ensure the security of your email account. Use a password manager, like LastPass, for example, to save the password on your computer.
